How to Get a Sylveon in Pokémon Go

You’re playing the most popular augmented reality game on the planet and want to know how to get a Sylveon in Pokémon Go. Pokémon Go is an augmented reality game where players capture and train their Pokémon characters to become a champion. A Sylveon is one of the most sought-after Pokémon, but it’s not the easiest to get. So how do you get a Sylveon?

Many players have obtained a Sylveon, but it’s not available as a normal spawn or in the PokeStops like other legendary Pokémon. You’ll need to catch an Eevee which you can then evolve into a Sylveon. Or you can choose to rename Eevee to speed up the evolution. You need to earn 70 hearts in 6 days to achieve this.

Here are some tips for getting this elusive, fairy-type Pokémon.

What is a  Sylveon?

Sylveon in Pokémon Go is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 6. It evolves from Eevee when leveled up with high happiness. Sylveon’s ribbon-like feelers give it special abilities, such as the power to sense emotions and feel pain.

The name Sylveon comes from “sylph,” an air spirit of European mythology. These mythological creatures look like beautiful women or girls dressed in white and are sometimes associated with fairies. So, how do you get the rare Sylveon creature? Follow our guide below for the best steps to get a Sylveon in Pokémon Go.

Our Guide on How to Get a Sylveon in Pokémon Go

Step 1: Catch Eevee in Pokémon Go

To get a Sylveon, you’ll need to start with an Eevee. This can be done by finding wild Eevees in the game or by catching them from other trainers.

Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon. And the most common place you’ll find these types of Pokémon are in the city or suburbs. But they can also be found in your local coffee shop, neighborhood, and at sporting events. We recommend walking around your local neighborhood or visiting any parks nearby to increase your chances of encountering one.

You don’t need to have these Candies or Stardust activated simultaneously either. But it might not hurt doing so since Eevee hatches from 1km eggs which means there are 8 different variations possible.

Where to Find Eevee in Pokémon Go

The rare Pokémon Eevee seems to spawn near PokeStops very frequently, so find clusters of them and hang out. Lures will obviously do wonders here, drawing in any Eevees in the area. No need to look for water or another unique geography.

Suppose it doesn’t seem like there is much activity at these locations. In that case, you might be too far away from an area where Eevee spawns naturally. You can hatch them from eggs, but 10 km eggs only have an increased chance of spawning this type, which makes it difficult!

Step 2: Evolve Eevee to Sylveon

Eevee is a Pokémon that evolves into one of eight different Pokémon, depending on which type of stone you use to evolve it. Eevee can evolve into:

  • Sylveon
  • Jolteon
  • Vaporeon
  • Espeon
  • Umbreon
  • Leafeon
  • Glaceon
  • Flareon
  •

Once you’ve captured Eevee, all that’s left to do is evolve it. To evolve an Eevee into a Sylveon, you need to have the required number of Eevee candies. You can find out how many candies it needs by reading the related article about “Pokémon Collection.”

How to Evolve Eevee into Sylveon?

There are two ways to evolve your Eevee into a Sylveon.

One is by renaming it “Kira.” If you rename the Eevee to “Kira,” it will evolve into a Sylveon with no other specifications needed. And the cost will be 25 candy. However, it should be noted that this method can only be used once. Therefore, once your Eevee bears the name “Kira,” you won’t be afforded another opportunity to exercise this strategy. ,.

The second method takes longer, but the process of evolving an Eevee is easier. It involves making your desired evolved form as friend Pokémon and earning 70 hearts in no more than in 6 days (that’s 12 per day). Ensure that some berries are taken care of before starting such an extended mission. If you don’t have enough berries, the evolution might not happen. Or it could take much longer than usual, which will set you back 25 candy each time.

Before clicking “evolve,” ensure that the profile button on Pokémon-Amie is set up correctly. If it isn’t, then there may be no hope in our little creature evolving into a Sylveon.

Conclusion

You need to remember that naming your Eevee “Kira” only works once per evolution. Therefore, you can only use this method to get a Sylveon once. After that, you will have to use the second option to obtain more  Sylvesons. This involves grinding hearts in order to evolve Eevee into a Sylveon.

If the trainer makes Eevee their buddy and feeds them 70 hearts over six days, then they’ll be rewarded with a shiny new Sylveon.
