Galarian Slowpoke first appeared in Pokémon Go in 2021. The Galarian variant from Generation 1 was released as part of Pokémon Go’s slow Discovery event alongside Mega Slowbro, the Mega Evolution of Slowbro.
Due to its introduction during the 2021 Halloween event, Galarian Slowking is currently available in Pokémon Go. You will find instructions below on how to obtain and evolve a Galarian Slowbro due to a requirement to initiate the evolution of a Galarian Slowpoke into a Galarian Slowbro.
What is a Galarian Slowpoke?
It was through Pokémon Sword and Shield that was first introduced to the Pokémon universe. And it was at the Isle of Armor DLC.
However, there is no need for the DLC to catch a Galarian Slowpoke. This is because one will be available in Wedgehurst Station during the brief preview event for the DLC.
All regional variants, including Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro, differ from their Gen 1 equivalents in appearance.
Galarian Slowpoke’s full pink body has been replaced by a yellow tail tip and head, complete with worry lines. Galarian Slowbro, on the other hand, deviates even farther from its original look. This look incorporates splashes of purple and a Shellder which is typically attached to the tail. However, in this case, the Shellder is affixed to the Slowbro’s right hand.
Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro’s typing differs from their original incarnations. The former is a psychic-type Pokémon, while the latter is both a poison and psychic-type Pokémon. Slowbro’s Galarian type was assumed to have changed due to a chemical interaction between the Shellder bite and the spices inside his body.
A Galarian Slowking is also available as part of the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield.
It differs from the previous Galarian Slowpoke evolution varieties in two ways. One of these differences pertains to type, in terms of the creature evolving into a poison or water-type Pokémon. The other relates to its look and, in particular, the fact that the entire head is now engulfed by the Shellder.
Pokémon Go released a Galarian Slowpoke during the Halloween event of 2021. To catch and develop a Galarian Slowpoke is a challenging task.

Set up a Mossy Lure at a PokeStops if you’re having trouble finding poison-type Pokémon. Poison-type Pokémon will be drawn to your position as a result of this.
On the other hand, Slowpoke Candy may be obtained by walking 3 kilometers with Slowpoke as your companion or by using Pinap Berries to double the quantity of capture candy you earn while catching any type of Slowpoke.
